This policy explains what personal data Fathom collects, why, and your rights. Fathom is a trading name of Paul Henderson, a sole trader in the United Kingdom, and is the data controller for the data described here. Contact: support@fathommoney.com.

What We Collect

• Your email address, when you buy a guide or sign up for our free content or updates. We use it to deliver your purchase and, if you have opted in, to send occasional related updates.
• Basic, privacy-friendly analytics about site usage. We use Vercel Web Analytics, which is cookieless and does not collect personal data or track you across sites.
• We do not collect or store your payment card details. Payment is collected and processed by our payment provider (the merchant of record), which is a separate controller for that data.

Why We Use It, and the Legal Basis

• To deliver a guide you have bought (performance of a contract).
• To send you updates you asked for (your consent, which you can withdraw at any time).
• To keep the site secure and understand aggregate usage (our legitimate interests).

Who We Share It With

We use a small number of trusted providers to run the service: Supabase (database and file storage), Resend (email delivery), Vercel (website hosting and analytics), and our payment provider (Lemon Squeezy, and Paddle in future). They process data on our behalf under contract. Some are based outside the UK, including the United States, and we rely on appropriate safeguards for those transfers. We do not sell your personal data.

How Long We Keep It

We keep your email and order records for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal and accounting obligations, and honour any marketing preference. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.

Your Rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to access, correct, delete or port your data, to object to or restrict processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, email support@fathommoney.com. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Cookies

The site uses cookieless analytics and does not set advertising or tracking cookies. The checkout, which is run by our payment provider, may set cookies that are necessary for the payment to work.
